From the very beginning, Prograin has been at the forefront of new trends and developments in the field of soybean production. Until 1983, whole raw soybeans could not be used in animal feed.

The urease and the protease inhibitors they contain prevent the assimilation of soy proteins, which lowers their nutritive value. This spurred Prograin to perfect a cooking process called "micronising" which uses infra-reds as a source of dry heat to eliminate these unwanted substances. As a result, our micro-soy exceeds North American standards.
